Экс-агент ФБР Роби Дриик открыл на MasterClass курс по построению доверия и выявлению лжи

Robin Dreeke spent two decades recruiting sources and reading people under high-stakes conditions. Now he's teaching members how to move beyond deception detection and become the person people don't want to deceive. SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- MasterClass, the personalized learning platform unlocking human potential with the world's best, today announced the launch of Become the Person Everyone Trusts, taught by Robin Dreeke, a former FBI counterintelligence agent who spent two decades recruiting sources and reading people under high-stakes conditions. In this class, Dreeke shares the system he developed in the field, so members can walk into any conversation, negotiation or hiring decision with a method instead of a guess. The class is available now exclusively on MasterClass, where subscribers have unlimited access to 200+ instructors with an annual membership. Most people believe they're good at reading others, but research shows that ability is no more accurate than a coin flip. Dreeke's class is built to help members do better than that. Throughout the class, he breaks down real field reports, on-the-ground accounts from his career in the FBI recruiting sources and reading people under high-stakes conditions. Each one shows how emotional hijacking, or letting emotion override evidence, leads to costly misreads: a bad hire at work, a negotiation or a broken relationship. Members will walk away from the class knowing: - The Three Questions. When a gut reaction hits, members learn to pause and ask: What did I observe? What did I infer? What does it look like from their point of view? Running through these before a performance review, a stalled negotiation or a difficult termination keeps a snap judgment from becoming a costly misread. - The Four Disciplines of Behavioral Analysts. Before trusting a read, test it: Keep feelings out of it, assess trust rather than assume it, collect evidence instead of guessing and watch for the moment emotion starts driving the read. - How to Read Tempo Tells. Set a baseline for how someone normally behaves, then watch for a shift in tempo across four channels: verbal, nonverbal, actions and intention. - Elicitation: Inspire, Don't Influence. Five moves for drawing out the truth without pressure, including suspending ego, validating before inquiring and asking "What?" instead of "Why?" - Reasoning From Incomplete Evidence. Act without a full picture by running multiple working hypotheses and continuing to collect information instead of freezing while waiting for certainty. - The Code of Trust. Dreeke's five rules for building trust with anyone: Suspend your ego, be generous, validate others, honor reason and be nonjudgmental. "Most people walk into a hard conversation trying to influence or persuade," Dreeke said. "Influence is about you. Persuasion is about what you want. What I teach is elicitation, it's about what they're willing to share. That system doesn't just work on spies, it works in hiring, negotiating and everyday life. My hope is that anyone who takes this class walks away knowing how to get the real story, not just the one someone wants them to hear."
