Woman charged with robbery of cancer patient MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A Memphis woman is facing charges, accused of robbing a man after his cancer treatment. Police received a call from a man on May 16 who said he is a cancer patient who is undergoing chemotherapy and was picking up his prescription for pain medicine, specifically oxycodone, at a pharmacy when he received a call from a woman he knows as “TJ.” The man said TJ requested that he come over to see her multiple times, and he went to her home, when two men emerged and threatened him, with one of the men grabbing him by the neck. The woman then approached him and stole his wallet, which contained $80 and his prescription oxycodone. Investigators were able to identify “TJ” as Tiffany Jackson and issue a warrant for her arrest. Jackson was later arrested and charged with abuse of an elderly or vulnerable adult, robbery and theft of property. Click here to sign up for our newsletter!
