According to her, a relative is “someone you are connected to by blood. Someone God gave the first opportunity to become your family. They get the first interview, so to speak.” She said some relatives meet the standard while others do not. “Some will pass. Some will fail. A relative becomes family when that blood connection is strengthened by love, loyalty, honesty, presence, and a genuine desire to see you happy and succeed.” Njoku added that without those qualities, the blood connection means little.
