In January, Astellas Pharma opened its health-innovation-focused global capability center (GCC) in Mexico City. It'll invest $10 million and create high-value jobs in oncology and rare diseases. Salesforce did the same in November 2025. Its new office in Polanco, Mexico City’s main business district, will support up to 2,000 employees. It is the company’s largest office in Latin America. US medical device maker Boston Scientific Corporationopened its shared services center in Costa Rica this year. It'll consolidate its R&D operations in the region, hiring 1,200 employees across functions. That's three different companies investing in in-house captive centers across the LatAm region.
