Дхармendra и Шатругхан Синха вспомнили смешной случай с их дружбой

On the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami, here’s looking back at a hilarious anecdote that perfectly captured the warm friendship between veteran stars Dharmendra and Shatrughan Sinha. The two actors have shared a close bond for decades, both on and off screen. Their camaraderie was once on full display during an appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show, where Shatrughan recalled seeking Dharmendra’s help when he was nervous about performing a song in front of a huge crowd. Shatrughan Sinha was nervous before his first public song shoot Recalling the incident from the early years of his career, Shatrughan said that he had never danced before a large public gathering and found himself overwhelmed when thousands of people turned up for the shoot. He shared, “My first song was to be shot publicly. It was ‘Shor Mach Gaya Shor,’ and I was very nervous. I had never danced in front of an audience before, and when the shooting started, thousands had gathered. I didn’t know what to do.” Unable to figure out how to handle the situation, Shatrughan decided to approach Dharmendra for advice. Shatrughan recalled telling Dharmendra, “Please tell me how to do this. I can’t do it. How did you perform your own song Rafta Rafta?” Dharmendra, known for his wit and easygoing personality, had a rather unexpected solution. Shatrughan continued, “He told me, ‘Just do what I did.’ I asked him, ‘What did you do?’ and he said, ‘Just drink a little.’” The mischievous response had both veteran stars bursting into laughter while narrating the incident. The anecdote offered audiences another glimpse of the easy friendship they have maintained despite spending decades in a competitive film industry. Shatrughan and Dharmendra’s association also extended to the big screen. Shatrughan made his film debut with Pyar Hi Pyar, which starred Dharmendra. The two later appeared together in Vijay Anand’s Blackmail and the 1988 action film Zalzala. Their association continued years later when Shatrughan made a cameo appearance in Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se, which featured Dharmendra alongside his sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. Their friendship has remained intact through the years. Shatrughan has repeatedly spoken warmly about Dharmendra, while their public appearances together have often been filled with jokes, old memories and affectionate banter. On Krishna Janmashtami, the throwback is a light-hearted reminder of an enduring Bollywood friendship and Dharmendra’s famously mischievous sense of humour.
