Искусственный интеллект сокращает бюджеты на видеопроизводство за счет оптимизации предпродакшна, но не заменяет экспертов

What AI Can Actually Cut From Your AV Budget (And What It Can't) The savings are real—but they're not where most planners are looking. August 13, 2026 Sponsored by Pro Connect Group Every planner I've talked to this year has some version of the same question: Can AI make my production budget smaller? Yes. Just not where most people are looking. I've spent more than 30 years in live production, and I use AI daily: scheduling, timeline organization, comparing estimates, flagging operational red flags before they become 6 a.m. problems. Work that used to eat hours now takes minutes. That's real, and it shows up in your invoice. The biggest win is visualization. Rendering used to be a luxury line item, which meant smaller budgets got a verbal description and a hope. Now we can show a client the room: staging, lighting, screen size relative to the back wall... before a single case ships. That's not a nicer deck. That's fewer change orders, fewer surprises at load-in, and fewer conversations that start with, "I thought it would be bigger." Here's where planners get into trouble. The tools that look like labor savings usually aren't. AI-assisted robotic cameras can track a presenter across a stage. Audio plugins can manage feedback suppression and system EQ. Scheduling software can streamline the labor call. Every one of those is genuinely useful; and every one of them still needs someone who knows what to do when it's wrong. A robotic camera doesn't know your CEO is going to walk downstage during the story that matters. It doesn't know that pacing is the shot. An auto-mixer doesn't know the difference between feedback and a deliberate moment of silence. And when a mic pack fails 90 seconds before a keynote, no plugin is going backstage to fix it. AI assumes what you want. It doesn't understand what you need. Anyone who's used these tools long enough has watched one be confidently, expensively wrong. So the honest math looks like this: cut manual pre-production hours, redundant rendering rounds, and the estimate-comparison scramble. Don't cut the experienced humans standing between your show and the thing nobody planned for. The savings from the first category are real. The savings from the second are a loan against your general session. The industries that survive this shift won't be the ones that automate hardest. They'll be the ones that automate the right things and reinvest the difference into expertise. Fewer people doing repetitive work. More skilled people running sophisticated systems. Broadway went through this with lighting consoles decades ago; the jobs didn't disappear, they evolved. Your audience will never notice the AI in the room. They'll notice whether the show felt effortless. That's still a human job.
