В Вестерн Мичиганском университете прошел рекордный фестиваль Bronco Bash с участием 500 экспонентов

Western Michigan University hosts largest-ever Bronco Bash with 500 vendors KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The rain didn't stop tens of thousands of students from coming out and participating in Western Michigan University's 44th annual Bronco Bash. Organizers say this is the biggest bash they have ever thrown, with over 500 vendors participating. "If you line up every table one-by-one, it goes over a mile," Trisha Larkin, WMU Bronco Bash marketing and design intern, said. Community organizations, restaurants, and local business all had tables set up with activities and free giveaways. "I am looking at all the different activities and winning the prizes when you spin the wheel," Nicole Duemler, who is a junior at WMU, said. "It's a great way to ring in the school year." There was a mechanical bull, carnival games and even some carnival rides - something that was new this year. Larkin told News Channel 3, the Bronco Bash is all about connection and getting people involved in the Kalamazoo community as well as introducing first-year students to campus. There were raffles and giveaways, including Celebration Cinema refillable buckets, free food and tickets to Miller Auditorium. "I got to always get that popcorn bucket and I try and get as many shirts as possible," Caden Hoskins, who is a junior at WMU, said. Many students told News Channel 3 it's the atmosphere of being surrounded by so many others that makes it so special. Fall semester classes begin Wednesday.
