Вест Бромвич рассматривает аренду защитника «Манчестер Юнайтед» Джейдана Кэмазона

West Brom need cover and competition at right-back, and one player who could interest the Baggies is Manchester United’s Jaydan Kamason. West Brom face Norwich City in the first game of an exciting Championship season. WBA have their sights firmly set on a year of big progress, after narrowly avoiding relegation in a disastrous 2026/27 campaign. The Baggies have recruited well, with young players the focus while some new faces have joined from abroad. After former loan star Danny Imray moved to Wrexham instead of returning to The Hawthorns, they turned their attention to Frenchman Nolan Galves. Galves looks like a smart signing, but further cover and competition is required beyond him. Albion will be considering their options, and one player of interest should be Jaydan Kamason. What would Jaydan Kamason bring to West Brom? After impressing in the Manchester United youth academy and spending time around Michael Carrick’s first-team over pre-season, the 19-year-old right-back looks primed for a senior breakthrough this term. A host of clubs are keen to offer him the platform to impress too, so WBA would have competition. Kamason has interest from Blackburn Rovers, Sheffield Wednesday, Southampton, Bristol City and Preston North End as his parent club weigh up the next best step for his development. It is clear to see why Kamason has such interest as well. He is a seriously athletic presence on the right, offering the pace and power to bomb up and down the right-hand side, making him a handful for full-backs when going forward and a real asset when it comes to defensive recoveries. Kamason pairs this with a really solid skillset on the ball. The Manchester United prospect has a good eye for a pass, be it a delivery into the box or a ball down the line for the winger to run onto. He has now played over 80 games for United’s U18s and U21s combined. The time has come for Kamason to be given a chance at a senior level, and West Brom could bring him in to round out their right-back options. The Verdict: West Brom will carefully consider right-back options as Nolan Galves settles In Galves and Kamason, West Brom would have two exciting right-backs who fit James Morrison‘s play style well. However, for the sake of balance, there is a chance that WBA consider a slightly different option. Not only is Galves very attack-minded, but he may need time to grow and adjust to Championship football. As such, Morrison and co may feel it is wise to have a more experienced, defence-first right-back in the ranks as competition. Jaydan Kamason’s Manchester United U18s stats That could see them overlook Kamason, or someone in his young, forward-thinking profile. But, if they want a similarly exciting player who can come in on a cheap loan deal, the Manchester United ace is certainly worth considering. After Imray’s success, Kamason could be the next right-back loan star at The Hawthorns. Enjoyed that?
