В Эст-Ливерпуле установили новые приветственные указатели для привлечения туристов и бизнеса

Trending EAST LIVERPOOL -- New Welcome to East Liverpool signs greet travelers on state route 39 coming from Midland near the Point of Beginning, at the on ramp to state Route 30 by Westgate Middle School, and on state routes 30/39/11 at the Jackson Street/downtown exit. The signs, in addition to welcoming travelers into the city, advertise that "East Liverpool is open for business." They were created as a collaboration between the city; Arcwood Environmental, which funded the new signs; Campbells Signs, which created and installed them; and Jimmy Joe Savage, a local photographer who provided photographs of the city for the artwork on the signs. The signs stand out with white posts and a display of notable buildings in the city against a Potter blue background. Campbell Signs installed the signs Friday. The previous signs, which once stood in disrepair, falling apart and not reflective of the image is East Liverpool wants to project, have been removed and replaced with the new ones. The Welcome to East Liverpool signs are just one of the many projects in East Liverpool's revitalization efforts which the city has been actively working on for a couple of years, with the goal of bringing new businesses to town and make East Liverpool a tourist destination. In an interview with Arcwood Environmental, East Liverpool Mayor Bobby Smith said the impact the signs could have on the city will make a difference in the image of the city and pride in the community. "We are all working together making positive changes throughout East Liverpool, and Arcwood has stepped up to be a part of that effort," Smith said in the interview. "You only get one chance to make a first impression. These new signs will help create a more welcoming entrance into our city and show residents, visitors and businesses that there is real pride and momentum in East Liverpool." Smith also said in the interview that working with Arcwood Environmental means a great deal to the city and noted that as with any long-standing relationship there have been challenges over the years, but the city has built a strong relationship with the company based on "communication, cooperation and a shared desire to make a positive difference." Smith also noted that the company has demonstrated they want to be an active community partner, and the city appreciates their willingness to work with the city and invest back into East Liverpool. Kade Reynolds, community engagement manager, Arcwood Environmental, said that the company has developed a strong working relationship with East Liverpool and are "working together identify meaningful opportunities where Arcwood can make a positive and lasting impact on our community." "For us this is about much more than making financial contributions. We want to be actively involved in East Liverpool's future," Reynolds said. "Whether it's improving the appearance of our community, supporting our safety forces, assisting local organizations or simply being there when the city needs a partner, we want Arcwood to be a part of that progress."
