Земельный участок на берегу озера в Келowna продан за 8,5 млн долларов

Waterfront development site in Kelowna sold for $8.5M $8.5M deal on the lake A significant waterfront development site in Kelowna has been sold for $8.5M. The properties at 3854-3858 Truswell Road, adjacent to the Aqua Development, changed hands in a court-ordered sale as a part of insolvency proceedings for the Vancouver-based Minglian Group. “It’s no secret that the development market has been slow,” said Stephen Webber of Colliers International in Kelowna, who brokered the sale alongside Arjan Thouli and Sawyer Hunt. “But when you have a good waterfront site like this that doesn't come around that often, regardless of where the market is, if there's a developer that has that vision, that's their opportunity to grab it because it's not coming back.” Webber said developers are sitting on a lot of land in Kelowna at the moment while they wait for the market to recover. That is something RBC said is starting to take place nationally. The sold property is zoned for mixed-use high density development. It was acquired by local developer Simple Pursuits Inc. A company representative told Castanet it's too soon to comment on any future plans for the site. Foreclosures proceedings involving the Minglian Group also resulted in the sale of three winery properties in the Okanagan. More Kelowna News
