Фильм «Twisters» вышел на стриминг: обзор новой экшн-драмы о преследовании торнадо

Nothing hits quite like a high-octane action film when you need a bit of escapism, something that serves as pure, thrilling edge-of-your-seat entertainment. The starry disaster film Twisters is exactly that – and it's just hit streaming. A standalone sequel (more of a spiritual successor, to be honest) to 1996's Twister, the film follows a few groups of storm chasers who butt heads when they all start to investigate a storm brewing over central Oklahoma. Things very quickly spin out of control (yes, pun intended) and stakes get high: rivalries escalate, and the storm grows ever more looming... What is Twisters about? As far as disaster films go, the narrative for Twisters is pretty simple: Kate, a tornado-chaser-turned-meteorologist who is lured back into the field by her friend, runs into a group of vloggers led by the brash, charismatic Tyler, while investigating a tornado in Oklahoma. Though they start out as rivals, the groups are slowly drawn together by their common goal, and a common danger. Who is in Twisters? Twisters features a completely star-studded cast, including: - Daisy Edgar-Jones (Normal People) as Kate, the meteorologist - Glen Powell (Hit Man) as Tyler, the vlogger and storm chaser - Anthony Ramos (In the Heights) as Javi, Kate's friend - Daryl McCormack (Wake Up Dead Man) as Jeb, Kate's boyfriend Where can I watch Twisters? Though it's been available to rent for a little while, Twisters has now just been added to Prime Video, meaning that you can stream it at no extra cost if you're a subscriber. It's also still available to rent through Apple TV+ or Sky.
