Пастор из Уэко поделился впечатлениями от рекордного тура Форреста Франка

Waco pastor reflects on time on Forrest Frank’s record-setting tour Harris Creek pastor joined the sold-out tour in July, preaching to crowds across the country WACO, Texas (KWTX) - A Waco pastor who spent a month on the road with Christian artist Forrest Frank says the experience was unlike anything he has witnessed in his career. Jonathon Pokluda, pastor of Harris Creek Baptist Church, joined Frank’s “The Jesus Generation Tour” in July, preaching to sold-out crowds throughout the month. The tour drew more than 500,000 attendees over two months of shows. ‘I’ve never met anybody like Forrest’ Pokluda said his time on tour stood apart from other Christian events he has been a part of. “I’ve had a lot of exposure to Christian artists through the years, we’ve booked and done concerts, and brought in people. I’ve never met anybody like Forrest just in his pursuit for the Lord and his hunger for Christ,” Pokluda said. The tour drew attention on social media, in part because of the role children played. Kids were invited on stage to sing parts of Frank’s songs during performances. “These children screaming at the top of their lungs that his ways better and that God is good and it’s amazing. Again, I’ve never experienced anything like it. I’ll never forget it,” Pokluda said. Lessons for returning Baylor students Harris Creek draws a large number of Baylor University students. As students return to campus for the new semester, Pokluda said he wants to share the daily habits he observed in Frank. “I observed in him that everyday is a mission trip, everyday I want to live for the Lord, everyday I want to seek his face and ask him what he has for me. What does he want me to know and what does he want me to do,” Pokluda said. Pokluda said that in every city on the tour, 5,000 people responded to the gospel — a result he said reinforces Frank’s description of Gen Z as the “Jesus Generation.” Copyright 2026 KWTX.
