Brazil’s Midwest has emerged as one of the country’s most dynamic growth regions, driven by the expansion of agribusiness, rapid urbanisation and increasing demand for infrastructure. This has created significant opportunities for the construction sector, particularly for cement producers seeking to support regional growth while advancing sustainability goals. Votorantim Cimentos is investing BRL530m in its operations in Mato Grosso and Goiás to strengthen its industrial footprint in central Brazil, and supporting the region’s long-term economic and environmental development.
