Платформа Appear ASA обеспечила трансляцию всех матчей ЧМ-2026 для Vivaro

Vivaro, a provider of media processing and live content solutions, used Appear ASA’s X20 platform to deliver live video workflows for broadcasters and streaming platforms during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the companies said. The deployment handled feeds for broadcasters and sports streaming services in Canada, the United States, Portugal, Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador and Argentina across all 104 matches, company representatives said. Vivaro used the modular, high-capacity X20 platform to support both linear television and large-scale digital streaming while meeting varying bandwidth, latency and quality needs. Vivaro processed and transported video using High Efficiency Video Coding, or HEVC, and JPEG XS, and distributed linear feeds over SRT. HEVC provided bandwidth-efficient delivery for many streaming customers, while JPEG XS offered high-quality contribution at sub-frame latency for workflows that required minimal delay, the companies said. “For an event of this scale, live feeds simply cannot fail,” Daniel González, Vivaro chief executive officer, said. “Appear’s X20 gave our teams the capacity, resilience and low-latency performance to manage both workflows through a single platform, maintaining consistent quality from the opening match to the final.” The platform’s modular architecture let Vivaro consolidate processing and transport into a compact operational footprint, simplifying control and service management and allowing engineers to configure workflows to each customer’s needs, Appear said. The infrastructure can be reused and repurposed for future premium sports productions rather than rebuilt for each tournament. “Vivaro’s delivery for leading media platforms demonstrates the value of infrastructure that adapts to the customer rather than forcing every service into the same technical model,” Luis Perez, Appear sales director LATAM, said. He noted the X20 supports both HEVC and JPEG XS so operators can choose the performance profile that fits each workflow.
