Зрители оспорили подлинность вирусного видео с измученной танцовщицей в Китае

A bizarre Chinese livestream featuring a dancer repeatedly performing for virtual gifts has gone viral after viewers began questioning whether the apparent display of exhaustion was genuine or part of a carefully constructed trick designed to encourage more donations. The footage was shared on Reddit, where the original post claimed the woman had been dancing almost continuously for four to six hours, with viewers apparently sending gifts that prompted her to keep performing. However, the clip itself does not prove that she danced continuously for that length of time. Instead, several viewers who examined the footage closely claimed that elements of the scene appear to repeat, raising the possibility that the video was pre-recorded or looped rather than showing an uninterrupted live performance. Viewers Question the Livestream: Was It Really Live? The clip initially shocked viewers because the dancer appears increasingly exhausted as she continues moving. Some Reddit users interpreted the scene as an example of a performer being pushed beyond her limits by an audience that could effectively pay to make her continue. Others described the concept as dystopian, with comparisons to Black Mirror appearing repeatedly throughout the discussion. But another group of viewers quickly noticed what they believed were clues that something was not quite right. Several commenters claimed the background appeared to repeat, while others said people in the background seemed to perform identical movements at the same points in the footage. One particularly popular comment argued that the apparent distress could itself be part of the act, designed to make viewers believe their donations were prolonging the dancer's suffering. Those observations remain claims from social media users rather than independently verified evidence that the specific video was pre-recorded. Is the Dancer Really Being Forced To Continue? The viral reaction has largely been based on the assumption that every gift forces the woman to keep dancing. But there is currently no verified evidence from the clip showing that she was being held against her will, physically forced to perform or subjected to abuse. The original Reddit post makes the four-to-six-hour claim, but neither the post nor the short video establishes exactly how long the performer was actually dancing. That distinction matters because the footage may be presenting an exaggerated scenario designed specifically to encourage viewers to donate. One Reddit commenter who claimed familiarity with similar Chinese 'exercise streams' said performers can use menus in which donations trigger particular actions, including increasingly demanding exercises. Another suggested that performers may exaggerate fatigue because appearing distressed can encourage viewers to spend more. Gift-Driven Livestreams Are Already a Major Industry The broader concept behind the clip is real. China has developed a huge livestreaming economy in which audiences can send virtual gifts to performers, with payments sometimes influencing what happens during a broadcast. In 2025, reports revealed that group livestreams, known as tuanbo, had grown rapidly, with performers dancing in rotating groups while audiences sent gifts and could sometimes pay to influence aspects of the show. A 2026 report described tuanbo as a rapidly expanding entertainment industry built around dancing, fan interaction, rankings and virtual gifting. Performers can spend hours rehearsing and livestreaming, while visibility and income are heavily influenced by audience engagement. China's internet regulator has also taken action against questionable livestream monetisation practices. In 2025, authorities announced measures targeting 'irregular tipping,' including exploitative or fraudulent behaviour used to encourage viewers to send money. The Viral Video May Be More Clever Than It Looks If the Reddit commenters are correct and the footage is looped, the disturbing reaction to the video may actually be part of what makes the apparent scam effective. Viewers believe they are watching someone become increasingly exhausted. That creates an emotional incentive to keep watching and potentially to send money. In other words, the more distressed the performer appears, the more compelling the spectacle becomes. That does not prove the woman in this particular clip was deliberately deceiving viewers. It simply means there is not enough evidence to conclude from the footage alone that she genuinely danced for four to six hours. For now, the safest conclusion is that the viral video shows a dancer participating in a gift-driven livestream format, while viewers remain divided over whether they witnessed genuine exhaustion or an elaborate performance.
