Шеф-полицейский Университета Мичигана-Флинт решил остаться на своем посту

University of Michigan-Flint Chief of Police decides to stay in position FLINT, Mich. - The University of Michigan-Flint Chief of Police is reversing his previously announced plans to leave the university later this fall. Police Chief Ray Hall has announced that he will remain in his position. Hall, who joined UM-Flint in 2012, said that after further reflection and conversations with his family, the relationships he has built on campus and throughout Flint ultimately made stepping away more difficult than he anticipated. “Flint and the University of Michigan-Flint have become such an important part of my life,” Hall said. “I love this city, our students and the community we work in and serve every day. I’m incredibly fortunate that my family understands that connection and fully supports my decision to stay. There is still work to do and communities to serve, and I realized I’m simply not ready to walk away from that.” “Chief Hall’s decision to remain at UM-Flint is welcome news for our entire university community,” said Chancellor Laurence B. Alexander. “Ray brings a steady hand, tremendous experience, and, perhaps most importantly, a genuine commitment to the people he serves. His leadership has made him a trusted and vital presence not only on our campus, but throughout Flint and Genesee County.”
