Beginning with the home opener against the Detroit Lions on Thursday, Sept. 17, the brand will connect with fans at the Highmark Stadium Pregame Plaza, building excitement and fueling the crowd with flavorful bites ahead of kickoff. At the Treasure Cave cheese activation, located within the secure perimeter between Gates C and D, Bills Mafia can try samples of the rich Treasure Cave blue cheese dip & spread, capture one-of-a-kind photos in the immersive “Don’t Fumble the Crumble” Treasure Cave tub with larger-than-life “blue cheese” foam crumbles, and test their tailgate skills with “Flip the Tub,” a lighthearted challenge inspired by classic game-day competitions. Within Highmark Stadium, Treasure Cave blue cheese will be the core ingredient in a house-made blue cheese dip, served throughout the stadium alongside western New York favorites like chicken wings, chicken finger subs, and pizza. In addition to the home opener, fans will have the opportunity to interact with the Treasure Cave brand at Highmark Stadium’s Pregame Plaza at the Salute to Service game against rivals the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, Nov. 22 and the team’s first-ever Thanksgiving home game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday, Nov. 26, three hours ahead of each game’s kickoff. For fans hoping to score gameday tickets, the Bills will launch the first “Treasure Cave Ticket Tuesday” the week of September 13 and give away two tickets to every home game through the Bills’ social media channels. “The Bills Mafia bring unmatched energy and pride to every game, and we wanted to create experiences that are just as memorable,” said Samina Kirchen, Treasure Cave cheese brand manager. “Whether fans are taking photos in an oversized blue cheese tub foam pit, playing ‘Flip the Tub,’ or enjoying bites of our blue cheese dip, we’re excited to be part of their game day traditions.” Treasure Cave cheese products are available locally at Wegmans Food Markets, Tops Friendly Markets and Price Rite, and grocery retailers nationwide. About Treasure Cave The Treasure Cave brand has a long and rich history as the first commercially produced blue cheese brand in the United States. In 1935, caves in Faribault, Minnesota, were renovated, turning them into a cheese-making facility. The caves provided the right temperature and environment to produce authentic, cave-aged cheeses. Born in caves, today, Treasure Cave cheeses are made in a state-of-the-art facility in Almena, Wisconsin, with curing cells that ensure the brand’s blue and gorgonzola cheeses continue to delight consumers after all these years.
