The shocking video shared with the Lynn News shows a person filming from one unknown vessel on choppy waters as two others are seen heading at speed towards it. Both boats have visible identification numbers indicating that they are West Norfolk Council-registered fishing vessels, with one of them making contact with the ship. One is an approved factory vessel, meaning it can cook, cool and store shrimp onboard. Gather and Graze to open new café and social space on King’s Lynn’s Broad Street A new premises is opening its doors soon, bringing a café, brunch and social space to town. Gather and Graze, located next to Mojito Lounge on Lynn’s Broad Street, will be the town's newest addition when it opens its doors to the public on Friday, July 10. In a social media post on Facebook, the new business announced that “tables are in, the counter is coming together”, and it is “getting closer to bringing something fresh to Lynn”. King’s Lynn Night Shelter forced to close for summer due to lack of funding A homelessness charity has had no choice but to close its doors for the summer due to a lack of funding. Those staying at Lynn’s Night Shelter had to find somewhere else to stay after the charity shut for the summer period on Wednesday. This was normal practice for the night shelter until last year, when it was able to remain open all year round. Excitement as new club for SEND and neurodiverse people has opened in King’s Lynn A new social club has opened for young people with learning difficulties. St Faith’s Church in Gaywood had supported SEND groups for more than 30 years and when a group closed last November, Rector Rev Kyla Sørensen asked what the church could do to help children and their families. The need for a safe and inclusive space was clear, so people from St Faith’s joined with volunteers from the community to open J Team as a regular group. The name was chosen, Junior and Youth Team, shortened to J Team, along with a new logo - chosen by the young people and volunteers. A man has been jailed for a dangerous 90mph police chase and orchestrating storage container burglaries. Lloyd Hook, 31, of Daniels Crescent in Long Sutton, appeared at Norwich Crown Court on last Thursday for sentencing, having already pleaded guilty to handling stolen goods, dangerous driving, possession of cannabis, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.
