В Бёрнс-Лейк планируют открыть новые магазины Tim Hortons и Dairy Queen

Are Tim Hortons and Dairy Queen coming to Burns Lake? Published 10:34 am Tuesday, August 25, 2026 Are Tim Hortons and Dairy Queen coming to Burns Lake? A real estate listing was updated on Aug. 24 to advertise a vacant space within the upcoming commercial complex on the newly constructed Richmond Loop. In it, the listing details a “unique opportunity” for a third tenant “to lease [a] brand new high profile end-cap retail space with attractive co-tenants, Tim Hortons and Dairy Queen.” “Located adjacent to Burns Lake Mall, anchored by Save-On-Foods, BC Liquor Store, and Pharmasave, the site benefits from steady daily traffic and a strong neighbourhood tenant mix … ideal for operators seeking visibility, convenience, and a lasting presence in a growing community,” it states. The listing details building plans that show three proposed commercial spaces with a Tim Hortons sitting at 2,695 square feet in size and a Dairy Queen at 2,620 square feet. The third building – which the listing is advertising – is referenced to be 1464 square feet with a patio. NorthStar Pacific Development Group acquired the development permit for the future build, and, in an email correspondence, stated that no confirmed agreements are currently in place and that deals referenced in the retail listing were potential and “speculative at this stage.” The real estate agency responsible for the listing has been confirmed by NorthStar Development and, at press, the online listing remained active listing Tim Hortons and Dairy Queen as tenants. Editor’s note: A previous version of this story said Tim Hortons and Dairy Queen were coming. The developer has since clarified the deals with these two franchises have not been finalized.
