Еженедельный выпуск газеты Royal Purple Университета Висконсин-Уотеруорер от 7 сентября 2005 года

The Royal Purple’s Sept. 7, 2005 issue marked the second print publication of the 2005-2006 University of Wisconsin-Whitewater academic year.  The current Royal Purple print issue schedule is to have four print issues per year: one at the start of each semester and one halfway through. However, the 2005 Royal Purple staff completed a print issue every week. The weekly deadline allowed for the staff to include timely information. The front page shows Thursday, Friday and Saturday weather; the second page includes a story about the gas price spike in Whitewater and surrounding areas; and advertisements across multiple pages include dates to events in the near future. Pages 1, 10, 11 and 20 of the Sept. 7, 2005 issue include color for the Royal Purple logo, photographs and graphics. However, the remaining 16 pages are monochrome. In the 11 years since this issue was published, the Royal Purple began distributing newspapers with color on all pages. Read the issue on JSTOR or in the photo gallery below.
