Платформа Rewrd объединяет программы лояльности в Нигерии для повышения удержания клиентов

Businesses constantly invest resources in acquiring new customers. Forbes reports that, over the last few years, customer acquisition Costs (CACs) have increased by roughly 60%. When a customer walks into a store, makes a purchase, and there is no way to bring them back, the business effectively has to pay to acquire that customer again. Customers, meanwhile, are incredibly loyal to convenience. They can easily switch to the next salon, pharmacy, supermarket or restaurant when there is no compelling reason to return. Rewrd exists to bridge this gap by helping businesses turn one-time transactions into long-term customer relationships. With Rewrd, every purchase can be the beginning of another by giving customers reasons to return. Why traditional loyalty programmes struggle in Nigeria Loyalty schemes in Nigeria’s retail and service sector have historically been built in silos. Traditional loyalty programmes trap rewards inside one business, allowing customers to often forget about them. A boutique’s points system has no relationship to a nearby delivery aggregator, and neither connects to the supermarkets down the road. For businesses, this creates loyalty tools that can be expensive to operate and difficult to measure. For customers, it means points can quietly expire or remain unredeemed because the effort of tracking multiple programmes outweighs the perceived reward. The Rewrd Partner Network aims to change that by allowing points to become useful across complementary businesses. When rewards feel valuable and attainable, customers have a stronger incentive to engage with a business and return . Building retention through connection. For small and medium businesses, particularly those with physical locations such as salons, boutiques, grocery stores and wellness spaces, customer retention is often the difference between a good month and a difficult one. Rewrd’s model gives businesses a way to plug into a shared rewards network rather than build a loyalty programme from scratch. It turns everyday spending across multiple businesses into a single, cumulative source of value for customers. Psychologically, individuals love seeing progress. A study by Mordor intelligence found that gamification elements such as points and badges increase engagement and motivation. According to the study, retail held a 27.55% share of the gamification market in 2025 (worth USD 29.11 billion), fueled by entrenched loyalty ecosystems With strong and effective reward systems, merchants earn stronger customer relationships, customers earn more value from the money they were already going to spend, and everyone wins. Rewrd believes every customer acquired can become a business’s most valuable future customer. The platform helps businesses recognise customers, communicate with them, reward them, understand their purchasing habits and encourage them to return. That can translate into more repeat purchases, stronger customer relationships and greater customer lifetime value. For SMEs looking to build customer retention without developing their own loyalty infrastructure, and for consumers tired of collecting points that go nowhere, the proposition is straightforward: every naira spent should create additional value. Rewrd is built to make that possible. The future of loyalty is not simply about giving away points. It is about giving customers a reason to return.
