Фонд американских исследований наградит Нила Кавуто и Джан Кроуфорд за выдающиеся достижения в журналистике

The Fund for American Studies will honor veteran journalists Neil Cavuto and Jan Crawford at its 33rd annual Journalism Forum + Awards Dinner on Nov. 10 in New York City. TFAS said it will present Cavuto with the Thomas L. Phillips Career Achievement Award and Crawford with the Kenneth Y. Tomlinson Award for Courageous Journalism. Cavuto is a former Fox News business journalist who spent 28 years as senior vice president, anchor and managing editor of business news at the network. TFAS said his career included coverage of the Sept. 11 attacks, the 2008 financial crisis, the 1987 stock market crash and both Persian Gulf wars. Crawford is CBS News’ chief legal correspondent and has covered the Supreme Court and legal affairs for more than three decades. She contributes to CBS Evening News, CBS Mornings, Face the Nation and CBSNews.com. TFAS also will recognize seven recipients of its 2026-27 Robert Novak Journalism Fellowship Awards and three recipients of its 2026-27 Joseph Rago Memorial Fellowship for Excellence in Journalism. The Novak fellowship recipients are Frannie Block of The Free Press; Faith Bottum of The Wall Street Journal; Mary Julia Koch of The Wall Street Journal; Gilbert Guerra of The Dispatch; Grayson Logue of The Dispatch; John Sailer of the Manhattan Institute; and Liz Wolfe of Reason. The fellows will spend one year researching and reporting on topics including ideology on college campuses, how Gen Z compares with previous generations and America’s religious revival. The Joseph Rago Memorial Fellowship recipients are Moira Gleason, Anatoly Grablevsky and Adam Pack. The nine-month program places aspiring journalists with The Wall Street Journal’s editorial page. TFAS President Roger Ream said the organization is recognizing journalists who uphold the profession’s standards and preparing the next generation of leaders in journalism. “TFAS is proud to honor Neil Cavuto and Jan Crawford for their commitment to courageous, principled journalism,” he said. “Throughout their remarkable careers, they have informed the public, upheld journalistic integrity and set an example of excellence for future generations of journalists.” The event will include afternoon panel discussions with TFAS alumni and members of the TFAS Student Journalism Association. Additional speakers and program details will be announced later. The forum and dinner will be held at The Metropolitan Club in New York City.
