TBC Tech School: The Right Place for Education, Where the Technological Future Begins Today

Success does not always depend on being in the “right place at the right time.” With TBC’s support, any corner of Georgia can become the right place to learn, grow and build a future. This is the vision behind TBC’s free online education ecosystem, one of whose flagship programs is TBC Tech School — a platform that gives young people across Georgia access to modern, in-demand technological skills regardless of where they live. One example is Rezi Gaprindashvili from Sachkhere, who used the knowledge he gained at TBC Tech School to create a website as a gift for his school. “I believe people can create the right time and the right place for themselves through their determination and the opportunities they pursue. Sachkhere is a peaceful and interesting place for me, and the right place not only to live, but also to study and work. In the future, I plan to use the knowledge I gained at TBC Tech School to create a game set in a fortress,” says Rezi Gaprindashvili. For the past three years, TBC Tech School has been introducing students in grades 9–12 to modern and in-demand technology careers completely free of charge. More than 4,500 high school students have already participated in the program, with 35% coming from regions outside Tbilisi. Students can explore a range of fields, including web development, UI/UX design, mobile app development, graphic design and social media marketing. But TBC Tech School is about more than acquiring technical knowledge. Students learn through interactive online lectures, communicate with lecturers and mentors, develop their first digital projects, and collaborate with peers from different parts of Georgia. Along the way, they build not only technological expertise, but also essential skills such as independent learning, time management and digital collaboration — skills that are increasingly important in today’s rapidly changing job market. TBC Tech School is part of TBC’s broader free online education ecosystem, which also includes TBC Campus and TBC IT Academy. Through these initiatives, TBC aims to make quality education accessible to people regardless of financial or geographical barriers. TBC’s online education programs are creating the right place for education — wherever you are in Georgia. Tags: TBC TBC Tech School
