Ушел из жизни 82-летний ветеран армии США и 34-летний сотрудник компании 3M Ред Феллерс

S.D. “Red” Fellers, 82, of Santa Anna, Texas, passed away at his home in Santa Anna on August 29, 2026. His care will be entrusted to Heartland Funeral Home in Early, Texas. Red was born on July 17, 1944, in Santa Anna, Texas, to Sylvester and Clara Fellers. He attended Santa Anna ISD and, as a young man, proudly answered the call to serve his country by joining the United States Army. Following his military service, Red returned home and began a long career with 3M in Brownwood. He dedicated 34 years to the company before retiring. Retirement, however, did not mean slowing down for Red. After leaving 3M, he spent many years working as a ranch hand, continuing the hardworking way of life that characterized him throughout his years. Red’s faith was an important part of his life, and he was a member of Feed Store Church in Santa Anna. Red is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Fellers; his stepsons, Ernie Coyle and Michael Alderson; his stepdaughter, Lisa Schwartz; eight grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and many wonderful friends who were a blessing to him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester and Clara Fellers; his first wife, Nelda Fae Fellers; their infant daughter, Sylvia Deeann Fellers; and his siblings, Sybil, Mary Catherine, Ollie, Elva, Donald, and Byrl Fellers. Red’s life was marked by service, hard work, faith, and family. He was deeply loved, and he will be deeply missed.
