Strictly's James Jordan's 'broken-hearted' wife 'can't forgive him' after marriage split The former Strictly Come Dancing stars announced their separation last month. Strictly Come Dancing star Ola Jordan is reportedly "heartbroken" after she and estranged husband James Jordan announced their split after 22 years of marriage. The 43 year old spoke openly about her "darkest days" following their separation, acknowledging that "life had changed in ways I never expected". The professional dancer fled abroad with their six-year-old daughter once the news broke, and while there have been reports of a potential reconciliation, she has reportedly told friends she "can't forgive him". Her pals are reportedly concerned for the dancer, who is reportedly "completely heartbroken". A source told The Sun: "She is still in love with James but can’t see a way of getting past this. Ola doesn’t think she can forgive him.” It comes after James, 48, admitted he was going through a "mid-life crisis" during his new podcast with Brendan Cole, titled Manopause. "I’m going through a midlife crisis. The last few years, for me, have been really tough. I’m not afraid to admit it. I put my hands up and say I’m struggling with life at the minute," said James. He added: "So many different things, with career choices, waking up and not knowing [my] purpose, things like that. Manopause is for the middle-aged man that’s struggling a little bit and hopefully we’re going to be able to help ourselves and help you at the same time." James recently appeared on This Morning telling viewers that he was living alone in a one-bedroom flat after what had been a "tough" few months. Speaking to presenters Craig Doyle and Angela Scanlon he said: "I'm OK. It's been a tough few years and obviously myself and Ola, I've moved out a few months ago and it has been really tough. "I find it hard to talk about and I'm not going to speak about it too much because I don't think it's fair on her. The fact that she's not here as well to speak about it." He added: "I'm now sitting in a one-bedroom apartment on my own at night, watching TV, going 'What is going on?' But I just need that time to find myself again. People could say 'It's really selfish of you too...' but I just felt like I...yeah." The former couple shocked fans when the pair announced they had separated. They released a joint statement confirming their break-up. It read: “We’re taking some time apart as we work through very difficult personal challenges. James moved out of the family home some time ago. This has been an incredibly painful and emotional journey for us both and it certainly wasn’t an easy decision.” It said James’s mental health “hasn’t been in a good place for quite some time”. He added: “I’ve been struggling more than I’ve let people see and I’m taking the time I need to focus on getting myself into a healthier place, both for myself and for Ella. Neither of us is in a good place right now. We’re both doing our best to navigate one of the hardest chapters of our lives.”
