Состояние Стива Мартина в 2026 году оценивается в 150 миллионов долларов

Steve Martin has built real success in comedy, film, television, writing, and music all at once. As of 2026, Steve Martin’s net worth sits at around $150 million, based on Celebrity Net Worth’s July 2026 update, up from the roughly $140 million figure outlets like Parade cited earlier in the year. His money comes from movies, television, touring, writing, producing, music, and a serious art and real estate portfolio, built across hits like The Jerk, Father of the Bride, and Only Murders in the Building. No public financial statement confirms his exact wealth, so every figure here is an informed estimate. Steve Martin’s Net Worth in 2026 Neither number is an official balance sheet, since both are built from public records, reported salaries, and known assets rather than anything Martin has confirmed himself. His exact wealth is hard to pin down for a few reasons: private contracts that never become public, taxes and management fees that eat into gross earnings, investments that haven’t been disclosed, real estate values that shift with the market, artwork that’s genuinely difficult to price, and royalties that arrive quietly over time. A gross paycheck and a net worth number are two different things. A $600,000 per-episode salary, for example, is a headline figure, not a take-home one, once you subtract agent commissions, management fees, and taxes. That gap is a big part of why every estimate on this page carries the word “estimated.” Martin has never laid out his full finances for anyone to see, and his wealth isn’t just his salaries added together. Gross earnings from a movie or a tour are very different from what actually lands in someone’s personal net worth after expenses. Early Life and Background Martin was born in Waco, Texas, in 1945, and his family later moved to California. As a kid, he worked at Disneyland, first selling guidebooks and later working in the park’s magic shop, which is where he picked up sleight of hand, comedy timing, and eventually the banjo. He studied philosophy and theater before entertainment became his full-time path. In 1967, he joined the writing staff of The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour, and by 1969 he’d already won an Emmy as part of that writing team. The Academy’s own honoree biography of Steve Martin traces a direct line from that early writing work to his eventual Honorary Academy Award, presented at the 2013 Governors Awards. From Stand-Up Comedy to Movie Stardom Writing for television opened the door to performing. Appearances on The Tonight Show and Saturday Night Live made Martin a household name, and his comedy albums and arena shows became a major income source through the 1970s. The Jerk (1979) is really where his movie career took off. From there, he built a filmography that’s stayed relevant for decades: - Three Amigos! - Planes, Trains & Automobiles - Roxanne - Father of the Bride - Cheaper by the Dozen - The Pink Panther Career Longevity and Only Murders in the Building: Martin didn’t stop at acting. Over the years, he added writing, producing, books, plays, and bluegrass music to his résumé. His most recent chapter is Only Murders in the Building, which he co-created and continues to write, produce, and star in. Hulu confirmed the show’s renewal for a sixth season, moving the setting from New York to London, with a premiere date of December 8, 2026. How Does Steve Martin Make Money? Steve Martin built his fortune through several creative fields, not just acting. His income comes from movies, television, comedy tours, writing, books, and music projects built across decades. 1. Movies and Television Martin’s biggest paydays have come from entertainment. For The Jerk in 1979, he reportedly earned about $600,000 upfront plus a share of profits. His The Pink Panther compensation in 2006 was reported at around $25 million to star in the film, plus another $3 million to rewrite the script, about $28 million total for acting and script work. For Only Murders in the Building, he reportedly earned about $600,000 per episode when the series started, though current terms are private. 2. Comedy Tours With Martin Short Live touring became a major part of his income in his later career. Pollstar reported strong box-office numbers for Martin and Martin Short’s touring partnership, including hundreds of thousands of dollars per show during their 2018 run. That’s the venue’s gross, though, not Martin’s personal take. Staff, production costs, and venue fees all come out before he sees a dollar. 3. Writing, Books, and Music Martin also brings in money from books and memoirs, screenwriting, and Broadway projects. His music career has earned him five Grammy wins from 15 nominations, and he takes his banjo playing seriously enough to fund the Steve Martin Prize for Excellence in Banjo and Bluegrass. This annual award supports other musicians in the genre. His ability to combine multiple creative careers has helped Martin maintain financial success for decades. Assets and Lifestyle Steve Martin’s wealth extends beyond acting and comedy. His real estate and art collection offer a glimpse into his financial success, although the full value of his assets remains private. Real Estate Holdings: Martin paid $3.175 million for a Beverly Hills home in 1995 and still owns it today, now estimated at $10 million or more. In 1997, he added the neighboring 1.1-acre parcel for $995,000 and sold it in 2019 for roughly $2.22 million. His former St. Barts home was listed at $7.78 million before selling in 2015 for an undisclosed amount. Art Collection: Martin has collected art for decades and has organized museum exhibitions. His 2006 sale of Edward Hopper’s Hotel Window reached about $26.9 million at Sotheby’s, a record for the artist at auction at the time. Estimates of his full collection value are not officially confirmed. His assets highlight how Martin built wealth through entertainment, property, and creative investments over the years. How Much is Steve Martin’s Art Collection Worth? Celebrity Net Worth estimates the collection at $50 million to $100 million, built since Martin’s first purchase in the late 1960s, an Ed Ruscha painting. The collection now spans Edward Hopper, Pablo Picasso, Roy Lichtenstein, Willem de Kooning, David Hockney, Georges Seurat, Francis Bacon, and Lucian Freud, along with contemporary artists like Cindy Sherman. Twenty-eight pieces from the collection were exhibited at the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art in 2001. As with the rest of his assets, no confirmed total exists, since art valuations shift with the market and with whichever pieces he still owns versus has sold. His major achievements include: - Emmy-winning television writing career - Five Grammy Awards - Mark Twain Prize for American Humor - Kennedy Center Honors - Honorary Academy Award at the 2013 Governors Awards - Continued recognition through Only Murders in the Building While awards don’t directly add to his net worth, they’ve strengthened his reputation and supported his long-lasting career in entertainment. Final Thoughts Steve Martin isn’t slowing down at seventy-nine. Only Murders in the Building heads to London for its sixth season this December, a format shift that could reset the show’s pay scale entirely once contract renewals come due.
