Stanley IceFlow: новая бутылка с откидной трубочкой идеально подходит для зала и офиса

Stanley IceFlow review: the flip-straw bottle makes more sense for the gym Stanley’s IceFlow combines cold retention, leakproof carrying and gym friendly sipping. 4 MIN READ The Stanley IceFlow combines cold retention with an easy-to-use flip straw, making hydration more convenient during workouts. Stanley's IceFlow Flip Straw Tumbler is a more practical gym companion than the brand's open straw tumblers, particularly if your bottle spends time inside a bag. The main attraction is simple: flip up the straw to drink, then fold it down when you are finished. Our verdict is that the 30 oz IceFlow is a strong choice for cold water at the gym, on a desk or during a commute, especially if leakproof carrying matters. Its insulated stainless steel body also makes sense in the UAE, where a bottle can move quickly between an air conditioned office, a warm car and an outdoor walk. Key facts Best for: Gym sessions, desk hydration and commuting with cold drinks Bottom line: A well insulated, portable Stanley with a flip straw that closes for leakproof carrying. What you get The IceFlow is built primarily around cold drinks rather than the large open straw format associated with some of Stanley's other popular tumblers. The 30 oz capacity works out to roughly 887ml, giving you enough room for a substantial amount of water without moving into oversized bottle territory. Stanley specifies an 18/8 stainless steel body with double wall vacuum insulation and BPA free construction. The company rates the 30 oz IceFlow for keeping drinks cold for 12 hours and iced for up to two days. The defining feature is the integrated flip straw. It folds down into the lid when you are not drinking, rather than leaving a separate straw protruding from the top. There is also a folding carry handle, so the bottle can be picked up without wrapping a hand around its body. Stanley lists the 30 oz version at 703g, when empty, with dimensions of 24.8W x 9H centimeters. The tapered base is designed to work with car cup holders, and Stanley specifically mentions treadmill and spin bike holders among its intended uses. The tumbler is also dishwasher safe. This combination tells you quite a lot about its intended role. The IceFlow is a substantial insulated tumbler designed to be carried between places, rather than an ultralight sports bottle. How it performs Cold retention is one of the IceFlow's strongest arguments in the UAE. Stanley's stated 12 hour cold rating comfortably covers a normal working day or a gym session, while its two day iced claim gives users who prefer plenty of ice considerably more headroom. Independent experience provides useful context: The Kitchn reported that its IceFlow kept drinks cold through a full eight hour workday and beyond. That makes it particularly well suited to a routine that involves leaving home with cold water, commuting and keeping the same bottle beside a desk. Double wall insulation also avoids relying on repeated trips to refill with chilled water. The flip straw is arguably more important at the gym. Tom's Guide placed the Classic IceFlow at the top of its tested water bottle selection, highlighting how easy it is to drink from while moving and reporting that its leakproof design allows it to be carried in a gym bag. The Kitchn similarly reported no spillage when the lid was secured and the bottle ended up on its side inside a tote. For treadmill or stationary bike sessions, the cup holder friendly base is another useful detail. You can sip through the straw without unscrewing a cap, then fold it away when you leave. The main fit consideration is weight. At about 703g before adding water, this is not an especially light bottle. That matters less when it sits on a desk or in gym equipment and more if you want something minimal for running or carrying by hand over longer distances. What we like Flip down straw: quick to drink from during workouts and closes when you are finished. Leakproof carrying: independent testing from Tom's Guide supports its suitability for a gym bag. Strong cold focus: Stanley specifies 12 hours cold and up to two days iced. Useful everyday shape: the carry handle and cup holder compatible base suit commuting, gym equipment and desk use. Who should buy this The IceFlow makes most sense for someone who wants one cold water bottle to move between home, the car, gym and office. Its 30 oz capacity is generous without reaching the bulk of some larger tumblers, and the closing straw gives it an advantage if you regularly put your bottle into a gym bag or tote. It is also a good desk bottle if you prefer drinking through a straw and want chilled water to remain cold for most of the working day. Runners and anyone prioritising minimum carrying weight may be better served by a lighter sports bottle, since the IceFlow's stainless steel construction adds noticeable weight before it is filled. Verdict The Stanley IceFlow Flip Straw Tumbler earns its place as more than a fashionable alternative to an ordinary water bottle. Its strongest feature is not the Stanley name or the colour selection, but the combination of insulation, a closing flip straw and a shape designed for carrying. For UAE use, the cold retention is particularly relevant. Stanley's 12 hour specification covers a long stretch away from the fridge, while independent reviewers support the IceFlow's practical strengths around leakproof carrying and easy drinking. The 30 oz model is substantial rather than lightweight, so it makes the most sense for the gym, commute and desk instead of running. If those are your main uses, the IceFlow's design is unusually well matched to the job. Gulf News earns a commission on purchases made through links in this article, at no extra cost to you.
