Спенсер Пратт рассматривает возможность баллотироваться в президенты США в 2028 году

Spencer Pratt may have bigger political aspirations than becoming the mayor of Los Angeles. On Tuesday, September 8, a source claimed to Rob Shuter ‘s Naughty But Nice Substack that the former reality TV star, 43, is contemplating a 2028 presidential run. “Spencer hasn’t had this kind of attention in years, and he absolutely loves it,” a source alleged. “He looks at politics and sees the ultimate reality show.” President Donald Trump, of course, came from the reality TV world as well, hosting The Apprentice for many years before he became commander in chief. The insider noted, in Pratt’s “mind, he could be the Trump of the next generation.” “Spencer learned on The Hills that being hated can be as valuable as being loved if everyone is talking about you. He believes he’s been training for this his entire adult life,” the source added. “Spencer knows people will laugh. That doesn’t discourage him. It motivates him.” As Globe previously reported, Pratt ran for mayor of Los Angeles after losing his and wife Heidi Montag ‘s Pacific Palisades home in the devastating wildfires in January 2025. Ultimately, Pratt — who shares sons Gunner, 8, and Ryker, 3, with Montag, 39 — finished third in the primary election in June behind incumbent mayor Karen Bass and city councilwoman Nithya Raman. The two women will face off in a November runoff election since both failed to secure 50 percent of the vote. In July, Spencer met with Trump, 80, and shared a photo of them in the Oval Office on Instagram, captioned, “I will never stop fighting for my community.” Then, in August, he posted a photo on Instagram of them at Trump National Golf Course Los Angeles, explaining in the caption that he was “Working with the President on a 25% FEDERAL film tax credit to bring back Hollywood.”
