Skin and beauty chain Caci appoints new chief executive Simon Duffy brings more than two decades of international consumer brand and beauty industry experience. The company behind skin and beauty chain Caci has appointed global skincare entrepreneur Simon Duffy as its new chief executive. FAB Group owns 75 Caci clinics in New Zealand, and also distributes beauty products through its Beauty Distributors division. Duffy co-founded Bulldog Skincare, which he expanded into more than 35 countries, before selling to NYSE-listed Edgewell Personal Care. In recognition of his contribution to the beauty industry, he was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE). FAB Group chair Michael Ambrose said Duffy's experience building a globally recognised skincare brand made him the ideal person to lead the company's next phase of growth. "Simon has built one of the world's most successful skincare brands from the ground up. He understands brands, customers and growth, but equally importantly, he understands purpose-led businesses and the relationships that underpin them." Duffy’s “genuine appreciation for what makes this business special” also stood out, said Ambrose. “He recognises the strength of our clinic network, the trust we've built with our members and customers, and the incredible team behind our brands. The strategy remains the same; Simon's role is to help us build on the strong foundation already in place and lead the business through its next phase of growth." Duffy said the appointment was a natural next step in his career. "I've spent my career building brands that help people feel confident in their skin, so joining FAB Group feels like a natural fit."
