Anna Peters has plenty to celebrate this summer. And that makes her our Week 10 winner of the Show Us Your Summer contest after submitting a photo from a special weekend with her sisters at Grand Beach. The photo shows Peters with her 5 sisters and 1 sister-in-law enjoying a beach getaway for her youngest sister's bachelorette party. “My youngest sister is getting married next month, and we had a bachelorette party at an Airbnb in Grand Beach,” Peters said. “We all went there, spent a couple nights there, and then we went to the beach and hung out. It was so much fun.” A big sister crew Peters is one of six sisters, along with three brothers, so getting everyone together for a photo is something worth celebrating. She is the second oldest of the sisters and says growing up in such a big family came with plenty of memorable moments. “Lots of fighting,” she joked when asked what it was like growing up in a busy household. The sisters didn't always agree, especially when the older girls wanted to do their own thing and the younger ones wanted to join in. “But then sometimes we all got along.” These days, Peters says the sisters are in a good place. She also shared a laugh about one sister who is just over a year younger than her. “People always asked if we were twins.” The only problem came when her younger sister eventually grew taller than her. “She’s not supposed to be taller than me.” Anna said. Related stories: A special summer memory The winning photo was taken during a weekend Peters clearly enjoyed, but it also captures something she values — time with her family. And now Peters has a prize to go along with the memory. As the Week 10 winner, Peters received a Splish Splash Family Pass for Splish Splash Water Park in Morden, along with a free oil change from Hometown Ford. Peters also remains in the running for the Show Us Your Summer grand prizes, which include a shed valued at $6,000, a pizza oven, a Yeti cooler and mugs, a house lighting package and $250 from Heartland Linens. For now, though, she's already got a winning photo, a fun family memory and another reason to enjoy the rest of her summer.
