Self-Storage Building-Components Supplier Overhead Door Corp. Acquires Motion Access LLC August 26, 2026 Overhead Door Corp. (ODC), a supplier of doors and other access systems for commercial, industrial and residential properties including self-storage facilities, acquired Motion Access LLC, a provider of automatic pedestrian doors. The Elk Grove Village, Illinois-based company specializes in door operators, replacement parts, retrofit solutions and rebuilt equipment. Motion Access will continue to operate under its existing name as part of Horton Automatics, an access brand under Horton Pedestrian Access Solutions (HPAS), which is a division of ODC, according to a press release. “Motion Access has earned a reputation as a trusted provider of automatic-entrance solutions, and we are excited to welcome their team into the Horton family,” said Kelly Terry, CEO and president of ODC. “This acquisition strengthens our aftermarket and service capabilities, expands our product offering, and reinforces our commitment to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional support to customers throughout North America.
