В Аалене пройдет научный colloquium по преемственности исследований литейного дела

The focus will be on the succession of Prof. Dr. Lothar Kallien, who has shaped foundry research in Aalen for many years, particularly in the field of die casting. Through his work and close cooperation with industry, he has established a strong network extending far beyond the region.  A key contribution will come from Prof. Wolfram Volk of the Technical University of Munich (TUM). He will present the Gießereikompetenznetzwerk Süd (Southern Foundry Competence Network) and provide an outlook on the future cooperation and networking of foundry research in southern Germany. The program will also feature presentations from leading industry companies, including Bocar, BMW, Handtmann and Föhl, combining scientific expertise with current industrial challenges and future perspectives. The official flyer with the complete program is expected to be published at the end of September 2026. Foundry-Planet recommends: Save the date now!
