Red Ochre Theology provides insights into the author's Spiritual journey in the development of an Aboriginal theology which involves an ancient spirituality and cultural tradition that enables a lived experience of the Creator Spirit, with people and with creation. This is nourished by a deep longing for justice, wholeness and a resistance that gives priority to the cultural lens of an Aboriginal faith perspective of trauma, survival, and to the principles of restorative of justice. It highlights the considerable contributions made by Aboriginal people in the translation of the bible, the rise and fall of significant Aboriginal church leaders and acknowledging current and future generations of Aboriginal theologians. This Aboriginal theology sides with the powerless against the powerful and seeks to speak truth to power drawing its inspiration from the prophetic path in the biblical narratives and the Ancestral Narratives. It challenges Christians to consider what it means to be Christ’s Ambassadors in taking up the Cross and the cost of discipleship. It is a must read.
