Red Kite Teacher Training has secured a Strong Standard rating across all aspects of its primary and secondary provision following its latest inspection under Ofsted’s new Initial Teacher Education framework. The achievement marks a double milestone for the partnership as it celebrates its tenth year as a School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) provider. Over the past decade, the organization has trained hundreds of educators entering the profession across the region. Inspectors Praise Mentoring and Collaboration Culture Ofsted inspectors commended the quality of training, mentoring, and support embedded across the Red Kite partnership network. The official report highlighted the strength of both the primary and secondary training tracks, noting how effectively trainees are prepared for direct classroom teaching and long-term education careers. The inspection team also drew attention to the core culture driving the programme, praising its focus on active collaboration, continuous structural improvement, and strong personal support systems available to trainees throughout their workload.
