Организаторы госсинг-концертов в Малави запустили онлайн-продажу билетов через платформу Pamsika

Leading Malawian events organiser Pule Events has partnered with digital ticketing platform Pamsika Online in a move aimed at making ticket purchases for gospel music events more convenient. Under the partnership, gospel artists and event organisers working with Pule Events will be able to list their shows on Pamsika Online, enabling patrons to purchase tickets online without having to visit physical ticket outlets. Pule Events Manager Precious Chikatiko said the partnership was intended to improve the ticket-buying experience for both organisers and patrons. “We made this decision because we want to give event organisers and patrons a better experience when purchasing tickets, without the hassle of travelling to ticket outlets,” Chikatiko said. Pamsika Online Marketing Officer Olive Gawanika described the partnership as a long-awaited development that could change how gospel shows are ticketed and managed in Malawi. The initiative has also received support from players in the gospel music industry. Gospel artists Thoko Katimba and King James Phiri welcomed the partnership, saying digital ticketing could simplify ticket sales while helping organisers track sales more efficiently. A gospel music patron, Josephy Saka, said online ticketing would address some of the difficulties associated with buying physical tickets. “We used to struggle with physical ticket purchases. You had to travel all the way from Machinjiri to town to get a ticket, which was an inconvenience,” Saka said. Pamsika Online supports several payment options, including Airtel Money, Mpamba, and bank payments, allowing patrons to purchase tickets remotely. The partnership comes as Malawi’s entertainment industry increasingly embraces digital platforms to improve how events are promoted, accessed, and managed.
