Oxygen’s Prosecuting Evil with Kelly Siegler kicks off its third season of investigations with a deep dive into the Texas Seven case. A special 2-hour premiere on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 9pm ET/PT will examine what currently stands as the largest prison break in the history of Texas. Kelly Siegler’s background as the former Chief of the Special Crimes Bureau for the busiest Texas courthouse makes her qualified to provide a unique perspective on high-profile investigations. “In nine new episodes, Oxygen’s Prosecuting Evil with Kelly Siegler examines some of the most high-profile murder investigations and shocking trials through the expert perspective of veteran prosecutor Kelly Siegler,” reads Oxygen’s synopsis. “The series explores a mix of Siegler’s own cases and other impactful trials she watched unfold during her career, with each case offering a unique legal focus. In each episode, Kelly shares why these cases were significant and how they helped change laws, shape the judicial landscape and forge new approaches to investigating and prosecuting crimes.” Featured season three cases include: • Seven inmates escape from a high-security Texas prison and launch a violent crime spree, culminating in the brutal ambush and killing of Irving police officer Aubrey Hawkins on Christmas Eve. • During a routine traffic stop, a teenage passenger flees into the darkness, leading to a deadly confrontation that leaves a Houston deputy dead. • When police arrive at a Houston high-rise, they find a beloved professor dead, with his girlfriend claiming she acted in self-defense using a blood-soaked stiletto heel as a weapon. • The strangling of a 21-year-old marks the beginning of a chilling Houston serial murder investigation, with additional victims and a disturbing call to a local newsroom revealing a killer who appears to be untouchable. • In a tiny Texas town, a custody dispute turns deadly when a father and stepmother of five are gunned down in broad daylight on church steps. Paul Storck is the showrunner, and Dick Wolf, Kelly Siegler, Casey Kriley, Jo Sharon, Adam Kassen, Tom Thayer, and Zak Cordova serve as executive producers. The true crime series is produced by Wolf Entertainment, Universal Television Alternative Studio, a division of Universal Studio Group, and Magical Elves.
