Josh Nicholls возглавил отдел технической поддержки Promat UK для регионов Midlands, Северной Англии и Ирландии

Josh Nicholls is now the Construction Support Manager for the Midlands, North England and Ireland for the passive fire protection expert Promat UK. With over eight years of experience in the construction industry, Josh Nicholls has a background in technical research and development. With experience working cross-functionally across marketing, production, and quality teams, he joins Promat with in-depth, practical knowledge of real-world construction challenges. Offering help and advice for contractors as the industry navigates evolving, often complex, building regulations, Nicholls works alongside Promat architectural specification managers to deliver technical advice to customers during the construction phase. Often visiting sites in person, Nicholls is a key point of contact for all site-based queries in the relevant regions. Nicholls provides face-to-face and remote technical guidance, helping customers to navigate Promat construction details, product fitting queries, classification testing, and practical workarounds for on-site challenges. The appointment comes at a time when the industry faces stringent regulatory requirements such as the Building Safety Act and the Fire Safety Act 2021, as well as tight project turnarounds compounded by an ongoing sector-wide skills shortage. By designating construction support managers for the north and south, Promat demonstrates its commitment to increasing access to support across the sector, particularly for contractors who face these industry challenges on a daily basis. On how his role can make a difference, Nicholls said: "There's rarely a perfect scenario in construction. Real-world sites often don't match the tested ideal, and tight project timelines can make challenges seem even more daunting. "It's so important that contractors can easily access technical support at every stage of development. In-person and remote guidance can make a huge difference in quickly resolving any practical issues, ensuring that projects stay on track, safely and efficiently. "By working closely with our customers, we can also better understand how manufacturers like us can enhance our support, which is the ultimate goal."
