Компания Scudder Roofing и Scudder Solar стали финалистами престижной премии «Лучшие Монтерейского округа»

MARINA, Calif. — Scudder Roofing and its sister company, Scudder Solar Electrical Energy Systems, have been named finalists in the 2026 Best of Monterey County® Readers' Poll, presented by Monterey County NOW (formerly Monterey County Weekly). Scudder Roofing is a finalist for Best Roofing, and Scudder Solar is a finalist for Best Solar. The Best of Monterey County® poll is one of the region's most anticipated annual traditions, run by Monterey County NOW, the independent, locally owned news organization that has served the Central Coast for decades. Each year, thousands of readers nominate and vote for their favorite people, places, and businesses across hundreds of categories — from best taqueria to best roofer — and the results are published each fall in a keepsake edition that circulates throughout Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito counties. For Scudder Roofing and Scudder Solar, this year's nomination continues a winning streak. Both companies have taken home the Best Roofing and Best Solar titles for multiple consecutive years, reflecting the trust local homeowners have placed in the Scudder name for their roofing and solar needs. “Being named a finalist again is a real point of pride for our whole team. Every roofing or solar or battery project we work on in the local area is a reflection of the relationships we've built with this community over the years, and it means a great deal to have our neighbors recognize that work year after year,” said Jennifer Scudder, President of Scudder Roofing and Scudder Solar. “We're grateful to everyone who has ever taken the time to vote for us in this annual poll, and we'd love their support again as we head into the finals.” Scudder Roofing and Scudder Solar hold C-10/C-39 contractor licensing that allows the companies to handle both roofing and solar electrical work under one roof and are recognized as GuildQuality-verified contractors. Scudder Roofing is a certified CertainTeed contractor and a Duro-Last Master Elite installer. At the same time, Scudder Solar is a certified/authorized REC, Hyundai, Savant, Franklin Whole Home, and Tesla Roof and Powerwall installer. Beyond the job sites, the Scudder family of companies is known locally for its community involvement, including support for local organizations such as Rancho Cielo, CASA of Monterey County, Habitat for Humanity, the SPCA for Monterey County, and local Girl Scouts troops, among others. How to Vote Voting in the finals round of the 2026 Best of Monterey County® Readers' Poll is open now at montereycountynow.com/bestof. Community members can cast their vote for Scudder Roofing under Best Roofing and for Scudder Solar under Best Solar, both found in the poll's Shopping & Services category grouping. Voting is free and open to the public. Per Monterey County NOW's poll rules, one vote per category is counted per reader, and voters are typically asked to participate in a minimum number of categories for their ballot to qualify. Winners will be revealed later this year in Monterey County NOW's annual Best of Monterey County® keepsake print edition. Readers are encouraged to visit montereycountynow.com/bestof directly for the official rules and the exact voting deadline.
