Сенатор от Делавэра Крис Кунс назвал Украину лидером свободного мира, уступив США эту роль

Posted on 08/27/2026 11:40:21 AM PDT by DFG Delaware Sen. Chris Coons is facing backlash after declaring that the United States is "no longer" the leader of the free world and pointing instead to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as the national leader putting his country "on the line for freedom." "I would say we are no longer the leaders of the free world. In fact, if anything, Volodymyr Zelenskyy is the primary national leader who is putting his country's men and women on the line for freedom," Coons said during a town hall earlier this month. "We need to earn our place back as leader in the free world in the future." Coons' remarks underscore his long-running alignment with Kyiv at a moment when President Donald Trump is pressing for an end to the war and putting a renewed emphasis on American power and national pride. The Delaware Democrat has been one of Congress' more outspoken supporters of Ukraine, repeatedly backing military aid, tougher sanctions on Russia and continued U.S. engagement with Zelenskyy's government. Coons spoke with Dover, Delaware, Councilman Andre Boggerty alongside Rep. Sarah McBride in a virtual town hall Tuesday hosted by the Kent County Democratic Committee focused on local issues. Coons has been a vocal advocate for sustained U.S. support for Ukraine since Russia launched its full-scale invasion in 2022, repeatedly pressing for military assistance and tougher sanctions on Moscow. Coons visited Kyiv in 2022 to meet with Zelenskyy and visited Odesa with Senate Foreign Relations Committee members in February to reiterate "the ironclad, bipartisan support" for Ukraine, according to a press release. Nick Adams, special presidential envoy for American tourism, exceptionalism and values, told Fox News Digital Coons' comments are "the essence of America last." (Excerpt) Read more at yahoo.com ... Chris Coons D-Ukraine Zelensky cancelled elections … how free world is that? More pathetic gesture politics from the Dems, lol. Free from choice. Freedom From Choice is what you want - DEVO El Presidente. “We need to earn our place back as leader in the free world in the future.” We need to rethink what “the free world” means now. We also need to replace Chris Coons. If possible, with someone who isn’t even worse. What a f’n idiot. Coonz is a buffoon. Zelensky wants the war to continue cause the minute it stops, he is out of office. There is a group on FR that would agree with Coons. My questiin for Coons and company: where do your loyalties lie? Yes, that is a question asked without sarcasm. Its probably more than that, imho. I remember seeing him cry like a little girl on tv when he talked about Biden stepping down. ROFLOL! You can always tell when a democrat is lying -— his lips are moving. They must all have stock in textiles, because they just make up everything out of whole cloth. Remember folks, yahoo is 100% paid for news. Don’t believe a word. Chris Coons is just a yappy little dog with a big mouth and zero brains behind it. He will say anything and do anything to further the Leftist agenda of destroying this country. Yahoo reprinted this story from Fox News. He banned opposition parties. Shut media that report things they don’t like down (radio, print, TV), or threw their reporters in prison, throwing foreign reporters out of the country. UNLESS they write favorably. If you don’t heed that advice, there are consequences even if you’re a foreign journalist: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gonzalo_Lira (beaten to death in Ukrainian captivity) But of course even our own MSM and government is playing this game. We just do it “softly” and without people really noticing. Seriously, do a search on: “us journalist beaten to death Ukraine” See what you get. Almost all of these journalists died reporting from the front, traveling with combatants. A Russian missile isn’t going to distinguish between the journalist or the three or four other guys he’s running with. The journalist was not beaten to death while in captivity. There is a huge difference. That is Google playing games with how they rank things so that you see what they want you to see. To get Gonzola Lira to come up, your search has to be very clearing defined. You have to basically know to look for him by name. Putting the face of Mr. Z on the poster as defending the “free world” is ironic. This was after that creep Biden pawed his daughter.
