Pinnacle Oil and Gas стала официальным энергетическим партнером международного марафона в Энугу-2026

Pinnacle Oil and Gas Limited has thrown its weight behind the Enugu City International Marathon as the official energy partner of the 2026 edition, reinforcing its commitment to promoting health, wellness and positive social impact in Nigeria. Organised by Nilayo Sports Management Limited and endorsed by the Enugu State Government, the Enugu City International Marathon is designed to promote athletic excellence, healthy living, tourism and community engagement, while positioning Enugu as a leading destination for international sports tourism. Holding under the theme, “Tomorrow Runs Here,” the 2026 edition will feature a flagship 42KM Marathon and a 10KM Road Race, bringing together elite international athletes, indigenous runners, fitness enthusiasts and corporate teams. The professionally designed 42KM route will showcase Enugu’s scenic landscapes, historic landmarks, urban infrastructure and vibrant culture, with all races finishing at Michael Okpara Square. Speaking on the partnership, Managing Director/CEO of Pinnacle Oil and Gas Limited, Adenike Labinjo, said the company’s support for the marathon reflects its broader Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) commitment to creating meaningful value for society. “At Pinnacle, we believe that the strength of a nation is ultimately measured not only by the infrastructure it builds or the economy it grows, but also by the wellbeing, potential and aspirations of its people. This belief is deeply embedded in our Environmental, Social and Governance philosophy, particularly our commitment to creating positive social impact in the communities we serve. Other News “Our sponsorship of the Enugu City International Marathon is therefore a natural extension of that commitment. While our business keeps industries, businesses and communities moving by providing reliable lubricants, other petroleum products and services, we recognise that there is another kind of movement that is equally important: the movement of people towards healthier lives, stronger communities and a more productive future. “We are particularly proud to support an initiative that promotes healthy living, creates a platform for emerging talent, encourages young people to embrace sport and showcases the potential of Enugu to Nigeria, Africa and the world. The theme, ‘Tomorrow Runs Here,’ resonates strongly with us because tomorrow is not something we simply wait for; it is something we build through the choices we make today.” The 2026 edition builds on the momentum generated by its inaugural edition, with the organisers seeking to establish the event as a major fixture on Africa’s international road-racing calendar. For Pinnacle, the partnership represents an investment in more than a sporting event. It is an investment in people, healthy communities and the possibilities that emerge when individuals and institutions come together around a shared purpose.
