Peer Software заключила партнерство с IMC для расширения присутствия в Центральной Америке

Peer Software teams with IMC for Central America push Wed, 12th Aug 2026 Peer Software has agreed a distribution partnership with Information Management Corporation, expanding its presence in Central America. Under the arrangement, IMC will distribute Peer Software's file synchronisation, replication and data management products across Central America, while supporting channel partners and customers across the wider region. IMC focuses on DellEMC enterprise offerings and operates across Central America, the Caribbean and the Andean region. It says it has a presence in more than 20 countries and works with more than 80 reseller partners. The agreement gives that reseller network access to Peer Software's file services platform for customers managing unstructured data across offices, datacentres and hybrid cloud environments. Regional push The partnership forms part of a broader regional expansion by Peer Software, which sells tools for managing file data across distributed environments. Its products are used by organisations that need to replicate and synchronise files between multiple locations while maintaining local access for users. That focus has made the company relevant to businesses with dispersed operations, including those running engineering workflows, business continuity programmes and hybrid cloud projects. For IMC, the addition broadens a catalogue centred on datacentre infrastructure, storage, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and hybrid cloud systems. The company distributes through a channel model, making reseller reach central to the deal. Regional distribution partnerships are a common route to market for software suppliers seeking growth in Latin America and the Caribbean, where customer relationships and reseller support often depend on local presence. The model can reduce the need for a supplier to build direct sales and support operations in each market. Carlos Ruiz, Chief Executive Officer of IMC, said the agreement would help expand options for partners. "We're committed to providing our partners with innovative technologies that address real business challenges," said Carlos Ruiz, Chief Executive Officer, IMC. "Peer Software has built a strong reputation for helping enterprises modernise distributed file environments, and we're pleased to bring those capabilities to our reseller network. Together, we'll help organisations improve collaboration, simplify file management and maximise the value of their storage infrastructure." Channel strategy Peer Software's software is designed to let organisations replicate, synchronise and manage file data across sites while preserving data integrity. Its technology is used in on-premises, cloud and hybrid environments. The tie-up suggests Peer Software sees Central America as a market where distributed file management is becoming more important as businesses modernise infrastructure and support staff across multiple locations. Storage and data management vendors have increasingly targeted such environments as companies seek tighter control over file access and movement between sites. Jimmy Tam, Chief Executive Officer of Peer Software, said the region had become a priority for the company. "Central America represents an important growth market for Peer Software as organisations continue to modernise their data infrastructure and support increasingly distributed workforces," said Jimmy Tam, Chief Executive Officer, Peer Software. "Partnering with IMC allows us to expand our reach through a trusted regional technology leader with deep expertise in enterprise storage and a strong network of value-added resellers. Together, we can help customers simplify file management while ensuring fast, secure access to critical business data." The arrangement is intended to strengthen support for resellers and end users across the region. For customers, that could mean access to Peer Software through existing IT procurement channels rather than direct engagement with the supplier. Peer Software is known for enterprise file services products, including software that keeps file data consistent across multiple sites. Such tools are often used when businesses want users in different locations to work on shared data without relying on a single central file store. The market has drawn interest as companies handle larger volumes of unstructured data and spread workloads across local infrastructure and cloud platforms. In that setting, channel partnerships can give specialist software vendors a faster route into regional accounts that already buy storage and datacentre systems from established distributors.
