Тасмания упростила сделку с недвижимостью, отменив бумажные свидетельства о праве собственности

The Tasmanian Government has made it faster, simpler and safer to make property transactions, with paper certificates of title removed from Land Titles Office processes. Minister for Parks and Heritage, Nick Duigan, said our Government this red tape busting reform would end the requirement to provide the paper certificate of title when buying, selling and dealing with property. "We have removed an unnecessary paper process while improving the protections that matter," Minister Duigan said. "The Land Titles Register has been maintained electronically for decades and remains the legal source of truth about registered ownership and interests in land. "This change makes land titles processes faster, simpler and safer." Removal of paper certificates of titles builds on broader red tape reforms to Tasmania's conveyancing system, which included a move to electronic conveyancing in 2024. "The reforms also included greater protection against identity fraud and improper dealings," Minister Duigan said. "Removing paper certificates of title is a fantastic next step, modernising Tasmania's land titles system and making property transactions easier for everyone involved. "A key part of our 2030 Strong Plan for Tasmania's Future is cutting red tape to ensure processes are simple and efficient while maintaining appropriate safeguards." Ownership and interests in land continue to be recorded on the Register. Owners may keep their paper certificate of title, but they will no longer be required to be lodged with the Land Titles Office and no longer part of the land titling process in Tasmania. /Public Release.
