Orange EV Secures $100M Credit Facility
Orange EV has secured a $100 million revolving credit facility led by Wells Fargo Bank. The senior secured facility strengthens the company’s balance sheet and increases available liquidity. Orange EV will use the capital for working capital and continued business expansion.
The financing also supports growth across its rental and leasing platform. The company manufactures fully electric terminal trucks for ports and logistics facilities. Its vehicles are designed for demanding yard operations across North America.
Its vehicles have accumulated more than 36 million miles of operation. Wells Fargo provided the facility as Orange EV expands its manufacturing and infrastructure businesses. The lender said the financing aligns with Orange EV’s growth strategy.
OptiGrid Targets Electric Charging Bottlenecks
A major focus of the new financing will be Orange EV’s OptiGrid subsidiary. OptiGrid develops battery-integrated fast charging solutions for electric vehicles and equipment. Its technology targets one of the largest obstacles facing large commercial fleets.
That obstacle is limited utility capacity for new charging infrastructure. Traditional charging projects can require expensive utility upgrades and lengthy construction timelines.
Those requirements can delay fleet electrification for months or even years.
OptiGrid’s battery-integrated approach is designed to reduce those deployment barriers. The company says installations can move from months to days or weeks. Orange EV is also increasing production of its Orange Juicer battery-integrated charger.
The charging system is designed to support fleet operations without major infrastructure expansion. It can serve electric vehicles across multiple commercial applications beyond terminal trucks. This gives Orange EV a broader opportunity within the growing electrification infrastructure market.
Production Growth Fuels Expansion Strategy
Orange EV says it has tripled production during the current growth period. The company is targeting one in four newly purchased or leased yard trucks. That goal reflects increasing demand for zero-emission equipment across industrial facilities.
The company is positioning its financing around that accelerating market opportunity. Recent customer activity has also strengthened Orange EV’s growth trajectory. The company recently secured an order for 40 trucks from APM Terminals in California.
It also deployed its 2,000th electric terminal truck. Another recent order involved 600 electric terminal trucks in a single purchase. CEO Kurt Neutgens said the expanded liquidity will support Orange EV’s record growth.
He highlighted production expansion, rental services and increasing charger demand. The company believes flexible financing will help it respond faster to customer requirements. It will also provide additional capacity for working capital needs.

Electric Yard Trucks Expand Across North America
Orange EV operates across 43 US states, Canada and the Caribbean. Its customers include ports, rail yards and logistics facilities. The company provides more than vehicles through its broader electrification offering. Its solution combines electric trucks, charging systems and on-site service.
The company manufactures its vehicles in Kansas City, Kansas. Its terminal trucks are purpose-built for repetitive industrial yard operations. That focus differentiates Orange EV from manufacturers targeting broader commercial vehicle categories. The company is now expanding its infrastructure capabilities through OptiGrid.
The new credit facility gives Orange EV additional financial flexibility during that expansion. It also arrives as businesses continue investing in fleet electrification and charging infrastructure. For operators, reducing infrastructure delays can make electric fleet adoption more practical.
