Сериал «Dugout Dads» с участием актеров из «The Sandlot» выйдет на YouTube 26 августа

TRAILERS Official Trailer for 'Dugout Dads' Series - 'The Sandlot' Spiritual Sequel by Alex Billington August 14, 2026 Source: YouTube "When your a kid, baseball is your life..." ⚾️ Hambino Media revealed their official trailer for a series titled Dugout Dads, which will be out for streaming later this month via YouTube. The series is basically the real legacy sequel to the classic 90s summer movie The Sandlot (one of my all-time faves) bringing back many of the original actors for a follow-up baseball comedy. But it's not actually a real sequel (they did make a few direct-to-video ones anyway but those don't count). It's created and developed (and stars) the actor Patrick Renna, who played "Ham" (aka "The Great Hambino") in the original film. Renna states (via GeekTyrant) that they've been thinking about an actual sequel but it never came together: "They were toying with doing a sequel, and it's tough because it's not like taking the actual original IP and trying to better it, because to do that is impossible. How do you better that? That was lightning in a bottle." Instead, he created this series with his pals. An idealistic dad volunteers to coach his kids' Little League team and discovers that the most unruly players aren't the ten-year-olds but the other coaches, parents, and sometimes himself. Starring Renna + Danielle Fishel, Chauncey Leopardi ("Squints"), Tom Guiry ("Scotty"), Brandon Quintin Adams ("Kenny"), Marty York ("Yeah-Yeah"), Grant Gelt ("Bertram"), Victor DiMattia ("Timmy") & Shane Obedzinski ("Tommy"), plus Michael Peña as himself. So "who's ready for game day?" Play ball! Here's the official trailer (+ poster) for Patrick Renna's series Dugout Dads, direct from YouTube: "The Kids Want to Play. The Dads Want to Win." ⚾️ Patrick Renna and Danielle Fishel Karp co-star in this heartfelt comedy, while reuniting the cast from The Sandlot! Dugout Dads follows a group of devoted little league fathers who take their sideline rivalries far too seriously. When their competitive antics begin to overshadow the kids’ love of the game, the dads are forced to confront their own egos, friendships, and what it really means to be a team—both on and off the field. Dugout Dads is a streaming series created by actor Patrick Renna, the original "Great Hambino", who is also starring in this. With writing by Sebastian Jones and Dan Kopelman. With episodes directed by Victor Nelli Jr. (of "Superstore", "The Wonder Years", "Acapulco", "Home Economics"). Executive produced by Danielle Fishel, Kyle Howard, Sebastian Jones, Victor Nelli Jr., Dan Kopelman, Patrick Renna. Made by Hambino Media. Renna's Dugout Dads series will be streaming on YouTube starting August 26th, 2026. For more info, visit his YT page. Anyone into this?
