Youtooz анонсировал выпуск фигурок персонажей из Skylanders

While Spyro: A Realm Beyond gets primed for a Spring 2027 release, Youtooz is also gearing fans up for a Spyro nostalgic throwback… and this doesn’t involve the PS1 era Spyro either. Teased for August 28 later this week, Youtooz is set to reveal new figures based on Skylanders. They are the reboot version of Spyro between Reignited Trilogy and The Legend of Spyro. But with how vastly different Skylanders was to classic Spyro and even TLOS, some may view that toys-to-life reboot like a completely different franchise… that happens to feature a new version of the purple dragon. While the images in the promotional Twitter post is harder to discern who the characters are, their silhouettes do give some clues. On on the bottom left, it is likely a Youtooz figure of Spyro himself… though judging by the silver-ish tip of the horns, this could instead be a figure of Dark Spyro, the evil counterpart of the original. As for the character at the top left, he can be seen holding some kind of blaster, which may point to Team Spyro leader Jet-Vac. Judging by the “fear the fish!” caption in the post, could fans be looking at Gill Grunt? That leaves one more mystery figure at the top right. Any guesses who this Skylanders figure could be of? Quick final sidenote, the August 28 date just so happens to mark two months before the 10th anniversary of the first episode’s release of Netflix’s Skylanders Academy, which premiered back in October 2016. Perhaps Youtooz is about to officially reveal a Skylanders Academy 10-year Anniversary celebration with this collab (despite the “Academy” part not being shown). What do you think? Who are the Skylanders characters you think are receiving their Youtooz figures (and are the predictions above correct)? Let us know below!
