Аренда в округе Мэдисон становится конкурентной из-за ввода 5 тысяч новых квартир

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. ( WAFF ) - Rent in Madison County is becoming more competitive as thousands of new apartment units enter the market, leading some complexes to offer free or discounted rent to attract tenants. According to local real estate broker Mike Sandoval, nearly 5,000 apartment units were built in Madison County in 2025. Rent is averaging between $1,100 and $1,300 a month. There are currently 524 single-family homes listed for rent. With so many new units becoming available, apartment complexes are competing for renters by offering incentives such as free rent for a few months or monthly discounts. “It’s out of necessity. I think the number was close to 5,000 units that were built in 2025 alone. And they’re starting to finish out now. But there were so many that hit the market that they became very competitive with each other. And they had to offer different incentives to entice people to rent from them,” Sandoval said. Sandoval said he expects rental demand to remain strong as Huntsville continues to grow.
