Отель Angsana Bogor открыл первый курорт группы Banyan Group на острове Ява

If a quick weekend out of Jakarta is on the cards, Bogor is an obvious choice. Angsana Bogor Gunung Geulis adds a few different ways to spend that time, from family activities and golf to wellness and dining. Located around 60 minutes from Jakarta’s business centre via the Jagorawi Highway, the resort is part of Banyan Group and marks Angsana’s first property in Java, with its location in the Gunung Geulis area shaping the experience. The resort’s 225 rooms and suites are divided across seven categories, including family-friendly and two-bedroom options. The rooms feature celadon ceramic bathroom amenities, while those with bathtubs also include bath foam and salts in matching vessels. Guests also receive a welcome drink, a local-inspired bite, fresh local fruit and a handcrafted friendship bracelet made by the local community. For families, Mahoni Eco Park is a good place to start, with a garden of herbs and spices as well as an introduction to the flora and fauna of Gunung Geulis. Four swimming pools and Terra Kids Club offer more options for younger guests, while an outdoor yoga deck overlooks the valley. Even when the rain arrives, as it often does in Bogor, outdoor plans can continue. Golfers have their own reason to make the trip, with access to Gunung Geulis Country Club and its West and East Courses. The two 18-hole championship courses cover approximately 450 hectares of mountain terrain and were designed by Thomson, Wolveridge & Perrett, making the resort a convenient base for a golf weekend. After a day outdoors, Angsana Spa offers a chance to slow down. Treatments draw on Asian-inspired techniques and natural ingredients, including the signature Angsana Massage with Euphoria Oil infused with ylang ylang, litsea cubeba and sweet basil. Inspired by the concept of inner “Qi”, the treatment can be followed by a visit to Angsana Gallery, where local artisan products are available alongside workshops covering body scrubs, herbal compresses and essential oil blends. Mealtimes bring another change of direction, with four dining venues across the resort. Market Place serves Indonesian and international dishes throughout the day, while Cascade Restauran t focuses on Japanese, Chinese and Korean flavours with panoramic valley views. Breeze Lounge and Bar takes inspiration from Indonesia’s jamu traditions, while Fire Grill and Bar serves contemporary Mediterranean steakhouse fare. The resort also has spaces for weddings, meetings and social gatherings. The open-air Zen Deck overlooks the valley and can accommodate intimate wedding ceremonies as well as larger celebrations, while additional event spaces are available for corporate and social occasions. As Angsana’s first property in Java, Angsana Bogor Gunung Geulis brings more variety to the classic Bogor weekend, with room for family activities, golf, wellness, dining or simply a few days away from Jakarta.
