Missing Fort Bragg soldier Sayveon Anderson becomes father as wife welcomes baby girl CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - A bittersweet milestone for the family of missing Fort Bragg Army Specialist Sayveon Anderson: his wife has given birth to their baby girl. Jasmyne Mowry welcomed Nadia Liora Mowry-Anderson on August 9, right on her due date. Mowry says the baby is healthy and already showing plenty of personality. But the joy of finally meeting her daughter has also come with the pain of Sayveon not being there. “It was the best time of my life with her coming,” Mowry said. “But, also, it was such a lonely part, too. Because he should have been there. He should have been there. She looks just like him.” Mowry says Sayveon had been especially excited to become a “girl dad” and had talked often about their daughter before his disappearance. Sayveon’s mother says she is thrilled to welcome her granddaughter, but her biggest wish remains the same: she wants her son home and able to be part of his daughter’s life. She says the family is holding onto hope that Nadia’s arrival could help bring Sayveon home. Army Specialist Sayveon Anderson, last spoke to his mother, Pamela Anderson, on June 27. Anderson says she was notified by the Army on June 29 that her son had not shown up for formation. Anyone with information about Anderson’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Army CID Carolinas Field Office at 910-391-4911. Do you have a story idea? Send us your news tip here.
