Майкл Джордан посмеялся над женой из-за её приветствия фанатов: реакция сети

Did Michael Jordan Laugh at His Wife Yvette Prieto for Assuming Fans Recognise Her? The clip was met with wild reactions online A lighthearted moment involving Michael Jordan and his wife, Yvette Prieto, has sparked debate online after a clip of the NBA icon laughing went viral. In the footage, Prieto appears to wave towards a group of people nearby. Jordan then seems to laugh at the gesture. A re-posted version of the clip suggested the onlookers were there mainly to catch a glimpse of Jordan, rather than Prieto. The Wild Reactions Jordan's reaction appeared to play along with that idea. There was no clear indication that the six-time NBA champion intended to embarrass or offend his wife. However, the brief moment was enough to attract plenty of attention online. One viewer criticised Jordan, writing: 'He never stopped being an a******, still the best to ever do it.' Another comment took a swipe at Jordan's personal politics and interracial marriage, claiming: 'First clue Michael Jordan is conservative he has a white wife.' Other viewers focused on Prieto rather than Jordan. 'She's waving back like 'aww, they know me too' meanwhile everybody is fighting for a glimpse of MJ,' one person wrote. 'JORDAN like: "B****, they literally think you just someone beside me watching the game, stop waving you look stupid"', another viewer said. The reactions highlight how quickly short celebrity clips can take on a life of their own online. The footage itself offers little context about what was said between the couple. In the end, it does not establish whether the former NBA superstar was laughing at Prieto, the situation or something else entirely. Inside Jordan and Prieto's Romance Jordan, now one of the most recognisable figures in sports history, has spent decades attracting intense public attention. His six NBA championships, five MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals have made even casual moments involving him a subject of discussion. Away from basketball, his marriage to Prieto has also remained a point of public interest. Prieto is a Cuban-American former model. She has worked in fashion and has been associated with designer Alexander Wang. She also appeared in the documentary Cuba: An Island Apart. Jordan and Prieto first met in a Miami nightclub in 2008. Their relationship developed over several years before they became engaged in 2011. They married on 27 April 2013, at the Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea in Palm Beach, Florida. Their wedding was a major celebrity event. Hundreds of guests attended, with figures including Tiger Woods, Patrick Ewing and Spike Lee among those present. The reception was held at the Bear's Club in Jupiter, where entertainment included performances from Usher and Robin Thicke. The couple welcomed identical twin daughters, Victoria and Ysabel, in February 2014. Prieto also became stepmother to Jordan's three children from his previous marriage to Juanita Vanoy. More than a decade after their wedding, Jordan and Prieto continue to keep much of their family life private. That privacy makes moments such as the viral clip stand out. What appears to have been a fleeting joke between husband and wife has instead become another example of how closely Jordan's every move is watched. © Copyright IBTimes 2026. All rights reserved.
