Maloney High School has spent weeks helping some students prepare for the start of the school year. The school offers several programs aimed at getting students ready, including a summer bridge program for incoming freshmen and a college prep program for seniors. Maloney also has a food pantry and clothing closet available to students. Assistant Superintendent Lou Bronk said building a sense of community is paying off. The district is seeing its highest graduation rates ever. “Anything that we can provide to keep kids connected in school, will help them be more comfortable and build relationships with staff throughout the school year,” Bronk said.
